Shipping Policy

1. Inventory & Lead Times

We stock a core selection of paint protection film at our Illinois warehouse. Availability is shown on each product page.

• In-stock items — Processed within 1 business day of order confirmation. Delivery time depends on the shipping method you choose at checkout.
• Backordered items — When an item is temporarily out of stock, the product page will display a “Backordered” notice with an estimated ship date. Because we replenish inventory from our manufacturing partner in China, backordered items typically require an additional 10–15 business days to restock before shipping from Illinois. We will notify you if the timeline changes significantly.
• Pre-orders / made-to-order — Any special lead time will be stated on the product page and in your order confirmation.

2. Combined Orders

If your order contains both in-stock and backordered items, we will ship everything together when the backordered item arrives. If you prefer in-stock items to ship immediately (split shipment), additional charges may apply — contact us right after placing your order at support@essentialppf.com.

3. Processing Cutoff

Orders placed by 12:00 PM Central Time, Monday–Friday (excluding U.S. holidays), begin processing the same day. Orders placed after the cutoff or on weekends/holidays start processing the next business day. Backordered items process once stock is replenished.

4. Carriers & Methods

We ship via UPS and FedEx. Available methods at checkout may include:

• Standard Ground (2–7 business days after processing)
• 3-Day Select / Express Saver
• 2nd Day Air
• Next Day Air / Overnight (where available)

Local pickup, when offered, is not a carrier shipment and follows the pickup instructions shown at checkout and in your order confirmation.

5. Shipping Rates

Rates shown at checkout control for your order. Current Standard Ground estimates for the contiguous 48 states:

• Flat rate: $14.99 Standard Ground on orders under $350 (contiguous 48 states).
• Free shipping: Free Standard Ground on orders of $350 or more (contiguous 48 states).
• Expedited: Calculated at checkout based on weight, dimensions, and destination (when offered).
• Alaska, Hawaii, APO/FPO/DPO: Flat-rate and free shipping offers do not apply. Actual shipping charges (including any AK/HI surcharge shown at checkout) will be displayed before you pay. Extra transit time may be required.

6. Packaging

PPF is delicate. All rolls and kits ship in crush-resistant tubes or rigid boxes with edge protection. Flat sheets include rigid backing. We never fold film unless the product listing explicitly states it is safe to fold.

7. Addresses

We ship to physical street addresses only (no P.O. boxes for UPS/FedEx). Please double-check your shipping address at checkout; carrier rerouting fees due to incorrect addresses are your responsibility.

8. Tracking

You will receive a confirmation email with a tracking number when your package ships. Allow up to 24 hours for the carrier’s first scan.

9. Damage & Loss

If your package arrives damaged, note it with the carrier (if possible), keep all packaging and product, and contact us within 48 hours with photos at support@essentialppf.com. We will arrange a replacement or refund as appropriate. For packages marked delivered but not received, check with the carrier and neighbors, then let us know after 2 business days so we can initiate a trace.

10. Signature Requirement

Orders over $1,000 may require an adult signature upon delivery. This will be indicated at checkout if applicable.

11. International Shipping

We currently ship only within the United States from our Illinois warehouse. For orders outside the U.S., contact sales@essentialppf.com to discuss options or be directed to an authorized international distributor.
